Michael Aiello

Michael began his career with R.W. Troxell & Company in 1989. He became a partner in 1992 and has served as president since 1998. Prior to joining R.W. Troxell & Company, Michael was employed by Marine Bank as vice president. During his tenure there, Michael was responsible for the commercial lending division servicing central Illinois. A graduate of Western Illinois University with a degree in finance, Michael serves on several community boards including the Blue Cross Blue Shield Advisory Board, the Indiana Agents Advisory Council, and United States Insurance Company of America.

John Eck, Jr.,

John graduated from Marquette University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. In 1994, after working in the banking business for six years, John joined R.W. Troxell & Company and became partner in the agency in 2001. In addition to his management duties in the agency, John continues to build a book of business focused in all lines of personal and commercial insurance and also manages the bond department of the agency. He is heavily involved in various not-for-profit civic and social areas of the community. John is married to Lynn and together they have four children.

John Hester

John joined R.W. Troxell & Company in 1976 and has more than 32 years of experience in the industry. John is Vice President with the agency and has served in key roles in agency management. Currently, he continues to assist in the agency's move to expand its operation throughout Central Illinois.

Chris Leming

Chris joined R.W. Troxell & Company in 1999 as a multi-lines insurance producer and became agency principal in 2008. Prior to joining R.W. Troxell & Company, Chris spent three years with Federated Insurance, specializing in commercial property and casualty, life and group health insurance. Chris and his wife, Margaret, are the proud parents of three children. A 1993 graduate of Western Illinois University, Chris is active in several clubs and community organizations throughout Central Illinois.

Todd Sowle

Todd joined R.W. Troxell & Company in 1991 and became a partner in 2002. In addition to his management responsibilities within R.W. Troxell & Company, Todd works with new and existing clients to better manage their insurance portfolios. Todd is involved with various community organizations and currently serves on the YMCA executive board. Todd and his wife Angie have four children.

David White

David joined R.W. Troxell & Company in 2000 as a producer licensed to sell all lines of insurance. David, with over 15 years experience in the industry, became a partner in 2005. A graduate of the University of Illinois, David is married and the father of two children.

Gary Hoecker

Gary joined R.W. Troxell & Company in 1981 and became a partner in 1986. Prior to joining R.W. Troxell & Company, Gary spent two years with the Hoecker & Associates Agency. Gary graduated from Arizona State University in 1978.

James Reavy

Jim joined R.W. Troxell & Company in 1989 as a licensed producer specializing in P&C products. In 1992, Jim became a partner. Jim is a graduate of Western Illinois University. Together with his wife Michele, Jim is the proud parent of 8 children.

Henson C. Robinson III

Henson has been a licensed property, casualty and life & health insurance producer since 1975. He joined R.W. Troxell & Company with his father Phil Robinson of the PL Robinson Agency in 1983. Henson has been a partner/vice president of R.W. Troxell & Company since 1987. Henson specializes in contractor insurance including bonds.

Bill Sowle

Bill began his career at R.W. Troxell & Company in 1975, becoming a partner in 1977. Bill specializes in personal and commercial lines as well as aviation. Bill is proud of his sons, Todd and Ben, who are also producers at R.W. Troxell & Company as fourth generation agents.

Timothy DaRosa

Tim joined R.W. Troxell & Company in 2002 as the agency's Chief Operating Officer after 27 years of service with the Illinois State Police. Tim is a graduate of Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and a veteran of the United States Army.

Dan Carroll

Dan joined R.W. Troxell & Company in 2001 as a part-time network facilitator and moved into a full-time position as the IT Manager in 2005. Dan has over 15 years of experience in computer networking. At Troxell, he oversees all of the servers, workstations, telecommunications and network connectivity. Dan is a graduate of Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.

Kim Cochrane

Kim began her career in the insurance industry in 1986. Since that time, she has held progressively responsible positions within the industry including claims, customer service, account management, and sales and marketing management. Kim, a licensed producer in Life, Accident and Health, joined R.W. Troxell & Company in 2005 as the Employee Benefits Manager and specializes in large groups.

Linda Garner CISR, CIC

Brenda Minder

Brenda recently joined R.W. Troxell & Company as Chief Financial Officer. Her prior experience includes ten years in the banking industry and four years of public accounting experience. She graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1990 and received her CPA designation in 1991. Brenda sits on the board for The Pregnancy Care Center of Springfield.

Andrea Petrilli

Andrea joined R.W. Troxell & Company in 2008 as Commercial Lines New Business Manager. Prior to joining Troxell, Andrea was employed with General Casualty as an underwriter. While there, she sold in the middle market for Liberty Mutual in the Indianapolis area. Andrea started her career working for Kemper Insurance for 10 years. She is a 1990 graduate of Ball State University.

Laurie Waldeck

Laurie has over 15 years experience in the insurance industry and is a licensed producer in Property and Casualty. Laurie joined R.W. Troxell & Company in 1998 and currently serves as the Operations Manager. Laurie and her staff are responsible for ensuring our clients obtain individualized service that meets their coverage needs with competitive rates.

Dan graduated with a bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of Illinois at Springfield and has been an independent insurance agent since 2002. Dan sells all lines of insurance including auto, home, commercial, life and health insurance.

Rosanne Boik

Nicole Broch

Nicole joined R.W. Troxell & Company in 2005 and heads a successful partnership with Heartland Credit Union,providing the local credit union's membership with one-stop shopping and an in-house agent. She is a Certified Insurance Counselor as well as a member of the Society of Certified Insurance Service Representatives.Active in numerous community organizations, Nicole serves as Vice President for the local chapter of National Association of Insurance Women. Additionally, Nicole is on the boards of Young Springfield Professionals Network, Greenview Civic Improvement Association and the Menard County Singers. Nicole graduated from Florida State University in 1999 and was awarded her MPA from the University of South Florida in 2003. Nicole is married to Matt.

Jennifer Call

Jen has been with R.W. Troxell & Company since 1999. She is a licensed property/casualty/life/health producer. She holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Illinois State University. Active in a variety of local organizations, Jen is a board member of Westside Rotary and United Way. She also holds the Certified Insurance Counselor professional designation. Jen, along with her husband, Ben, and her three children are members of Christ the King.

Don Casper

Don began his career in 1957 working for his father in the Casper Real Estate and Insurance Company. Later in the 1970's, Don started Don Casper Insurance, Ltd. In late 1970, Don entered into a brokerage agreement with RW Troxell & Company that remains in effect. Don and his wife Joan have been married for over 50 years and have 3 children. Don is a veteran of the United States Army.

Susan Cassiday

Susan joined R. W. Troxell in 1996. Prior to joining Troxell she was employed with American Community Mutual Insurance, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Teachers' Retirement System. Her main focus is on group benefits.

Maripat Cline

Maripat joined R. W. Troxell in 1993 as Manager of the Benefits Division. Maripat now serves as Vice President of Benefits and specializes in large, fully insured and self funded group accounts. Prior to R. W. Troxell, Maripat spent 16 years as manager for a statewide association benefits program.

Pat Doyle

Pat joined the insurance industry in 1959 as a broker and did so until 1963 at which time he formed the Doyle Peterson Agency. Pat served as president of Doyle Peterson until he joined R W Troxell in 1994.

Matt Ference

Matt joined R.W. Troxell in 2005 in the St. Louis office and focuses on commercial and personal insurance lines as well as benefits. Prior to Troxell, Matt was employed by Big 6 public accounting firms in St. Louis and is a Certified Public Accountant. Matt is a 1988 graduate from the Purdue University Krannert School of Business and also earned a graduate degree in 1992 from St. Louis University.

Mike Gillespie

Mike started in the insurance business in 1976. He was previously with Horace Mann Companies and Lanphier & Company and has more than 27 years with Troxell. Mike has been active serving on several local boards as well as serving for 10 years with the Jaycees of Illinois.

John Greene

John has been an insurance broker/producer since 1986 and joined R.W. Troxell in 1980. John is active with all lines of insurance including property and casualty, life and health and long term care. He graduated from Greenville College with a BS in business management.

Todd Helm

After graduating from Missouri Military Academy and Bradley University, Todd joined his family insurance agency, Alvin S. Keys and Company, in 1985. In 2008, Todd merged Alvin S. Keys and Company and the Kay Miller Insurance Agency into R. W. Troxell & Company in an effort to have greater access to companies and their products and to improve the level of service provided to his clients. Todd has been active in numerous community organizations including the City of Springfield delegation to the sister city of Ashikaga, Japan, volunteering in the Medical Clinic in Sarthe Haiti and Attention Home for Youth. He also is a corporate mentor for Big Brother/Big Sister of Central Illinois. Todd has had several published articles in an International Commercial Aviation Magazine and during his career received the Paul Harris Fellow award from Rotary International and the Young Agent of the Year from the Professional Independent Insurance Agents of Illinois.

Ed House

Ed started his insurance career with Country Companies in 1975. Ed came to R. W. Troxell in January of 1981 and handles auto, home, life, health and small business insurance. Ed is a graduate of Sangamon State University.

Russ Jones

Russ has been in the insurance business for 40 years. Prior to joining R. W. Troxell , Russ worked for 29 years as an Allstate agency. The last 11 years Russ has been an independent agent.

Melissa Klemm

Corey joined R.W. Troxell & Company in October of 2008. Prior to joining Troxell, Corey sold health and life insurance for United American Insurance Company. Corey is a 2008 graduate of Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and holds a commercial lines coverage specialist designation with the Hartford.

Ted Lentz

Ted has been an agent since he graduated with a B.S. in Business Management from Eastern Illinois University in 1973. Prior to joining R.W. Troxell & Company, Ted was an agent with Mutual of Omaha for 26 years. Ted has been with Troxell for the past 10 years selling all lines of insurance.

Joe Ludtke

Joe joined R. W. Troxell in 2000 as a producer focusing on life and health products. Joe has been recognized nationally as one of the top Worksite Marketing Agents. Prior to joining Troxell, Joe worked in the sales and service industry for seven years.

Mary Jane Muller

Mary Jane started her insurance career in 1985 after 14 years in the real estate industry. She started with Country Insurance and then become an independent agent in 1994.

Marc Petrilli

Marc joined R.W. Troxell & Company in 2003 as a producer specializing in life and health benefits. Marc has over 18 years of insurance experience; having worked as a Client Executive for Kemper Insurance and Senior Sales Representative for American Fidelity Assurance. A 1990 graduate of Illinois State University, Marc sits on the Community Fund panel for the United Way of Central Illinois.

Alex joined R.W. Troxell & Company in June of 2010 as a producer focused in all lines of commercial and personal insurance. He holds a bachelor 's degree in Communication with a focus on the Business aspect from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Patti has over 20 years in the insurance industry beginning her career in Union Group Health and Pension Benefits, including negotiations with the Teamsters Union. For the past 10 years, Patti has been an Illinois and Missouri state representative for the National Association for the Self Employed and Americans for Financial Security. Patti has been recognized in the top 200 sales agents for the past 7 years with HealthMarkets. Patti joined RW Troxell in 2008. Patti is a graduate of the University of Illinois and is married with two children.

Ernie Rosecrans

Ernie is a partner and commercial lines manager and producer with Summer & Associates, LLC, a division of R. W. Troxell in Washington, Illinois since August 1, 2008. Ernie has over 30 years in the insurance business as a commercial underwriter, producer and agency owner. He obtained his Certified Insurance Counselor designation and continues to stay up to date on insurance industry changes.

Cathy Schwartz

Cathy is an experienced life, health and disability insurance agent with 25 years of industry experience. She was recruited to the R.W. Troxell health department in 1999. She began her insurance career with Connecticut Mutual in 1985 and was previously a principal with Schwartz Financial LLC. Cathy is a community activist serving in leadership roles for many non-profit boards and committees. She also has a great deal of expertise in the health industry, having graduated from Maryville College in 1981 with a nursing degree.

Amanda Skinner

Amanda joined R.W. Troxell & Company as part of its partnership with Heartland Credit Union in June of 2010, providing the credit union's membership an additional in-house agent. She is actively involved with the Young Springfield Professional Network and is currently serving on the Corporate Food Fight Challenge Committee. Amanda is also involved in Downtown Springfield, Inc. A graduate of University of Illinois at Springfield, Amanda holds a Bachelor's of Art Degree in Business Management. She is married to Nic.

Ben joined R. W. Troxell in 2004. Prior to Troxell he was employed with Levi, Ray & Shoup, a global provider of information technology solutions. Ben graduated from the University of Illinois in 1999. He currently sits on boards at Sacred Heart Griffin High School, The Kiwanis Club of Downtown Springfield and the American Business Club of Springfield.

Mark Swisher

Mark has been a licensed insurance agent since 1983. He earned his Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 1999 and specializes in personal lines insurance. He is a partner and co-manager of Summer & Associates, LLC, a division of R. W. Troxell, in Washington, Illinois and has been at this location since 1983.

Marilyn Tate

Marilyn joined R.W. Troxell & Company in 1985 when Bernard-Hatfield-Tate merged with the company. She is a licensed property and casualty agent with R.W. Troxell & Company. In her spare time, Marilyn serves on several not-for-profit boards of directors.

Kevin Timoney

Kevin joined R.W. Troxell & Company in 1998 after spending 15 years in the food wholesale industry. After obtaining an associates degree from Springfield College in Illinois, he graduated from the University of Illinois. Kevin currently is a board member for the United States Insurance Company and sells all lines of business and personal insurance as well as health and life insurance. In 2009, Kevin obtained the Certified Insurance Counselor designation. Kevin believes the insurance profession is best served by those who acquire and maintain a high standard of professionalism by meeting the continuing education requirements of the Certified Insurance Counselors Program.

Sam Trigillo

Sam started with R. W. Troxell in October 2001. Prior to joining Troxell Sam was with Horace Mann Companies for over 25 years. Sam specializes in property, auto, long -term care and life insurance. Sam is a graduate in education from Monmouth College.

Mark Whitlock

Mark earned his bachelor of science degree in Risk Management & Insurance from the Katie School of Insurance at Illinois State University, which is one of the top insurance & risk management programs in the nation. In addition, he holds an INS Certificate in General Insurance, an Associate in Insurance Services (AIS) designation, a Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation, the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation and the Risk Management for Public Entitites (ARM-P) designation. Mark is also licensed in Property/Casualty and Life/Health.
